Description

Kit of traps for trapping mice and voles without killing in different habitats for scientific studies. The Ugglan trapps were constructed for multiple catches of small mammals for research use.

Specification

The trap is constructed to let only the small rodents enter. The mechanism of shutting the trap has a well determined function of balance and tilting.

Services

Traps can be used for obtaining reliable data on small mammal population structure and numbers. These efficient traps catch all functional categories of the population. Ugglan traps catch almost only target animals – mice and voles and without killing them what is important in many kinds of ecological studies. Particularly important is that several animals could be trapped simultaneously in the period between checking of trapps.
