Description

Calibrated hot-box equipment for the measurements of thermal transmittance (U-value) for windows, doors and other building components according to standard EN ISO 8990. It consists of two chambers with precisely controlled temperatures and middle part where the sample is placed.

Specification

Dimensions (LxWxH): 3 x 4 x 2.85m. Controlled temperature range for cold side-10◦C…+40◦C, for hot side +10◦C…+40◦C. Temperature sensors: 32+24 on sample, 18+18 in the air. 5 heat flux sensors, 2 hot wires for air velocity measurements, 3 humidity sensors. Maximal sample size: 1,4×2,1 m (including ready opening for standard window size of 1,23×1,48 m).

Services

U-value measurements for windows, doors and other building structures with sizes up to 1.4×2.1 m according to EN ISO 8990 standard.
