Nodrošina siltuma vadītspējas koeficienta noteikšanu 20x20 cm paraugiem ar maksimālo biezumu 51 mm. Iespējams nomērīt paraugus ar vadītspēju 0.005 līdz 0.35 W/m∙K diapazonā. (Provides determination of the thermal conductivity coefficient for 20x20 cm samples with a maximum thickness of 51 mm. It is possible to measure samples with conductivity in the range of 0.005 to 0.35 W/m∙K.)

Siltuma vadītspējas noteikšana siltumizolācijas un būvmateriāliem, kā arī citiem materiāliem, kuriem ir svarīgi zināt termiskās īpašības. Siltumvadītspējas rezultāta noteikšana izstrādājot prototipu ir viens no soļiem jaunu materiālu radīšanā. RTU pētnieki ir spējīgi konsultēt tālāko darbību veikšanā.
