Scan® 300 is an automatic colony counter. It counts colonies on a Petri dish in less than half a second and gives you quick, accurate, complete and traceable reading of the results. With its CMOS camera and powerful software, it connects to a PC via a USB connection and automatically exports results to Excel™.
• All stainless steel body • CMOS color camera • Lens M12 • Digital zoom x28 (enabling to read the letters on the disks) • Resolution : 1 mega-pixels • Counting time: 1000 colonies per second • Minimum size of colony: 0.1 mm • Lighting system: long-life white LEDs / Dark Field • Lighting system: automatic 6 combinations, top and/or bottom light, white or black background • Counting: automatic with manual control • Results / data export: Scan® recountable file, PDF report, jpeg, png, bmp, Excel™ • LIMS connection • USB connection • Counting on Petri dishes (55 - 90 mm) • Spiral® plating • Automatic separation of confluent colonies • Automatic elimination of counting grids • Polygonal exclusion areas
Scan® 300 is an automatic colony counter. Scan® 300 automatically counts colonies: On poured, spread and Spiral plated Petri dishes. It counts colonies on a Petri dish in less than half a second and gives you quick, accurate, complete and traceable reading of the results. 1000 colonies are detected in 1 second. Counts 30 dishes in 5 minutes (in real conditions with presetting). With its CCD camera and a powerful software, it connects to a PC via an USB connection and automatically export results to Excel™. Scan® 300 is widely used in food microbiology, pharmaceutical analysis, medical and environmental tests. It ensures the traceability of the colony counting and allows for great time reduction, making the laboratory work more reliable, comfortable and efficient.
