Description

Pyrolysis–gas chromatography–mass spectrometry is a method of chemical analysis in which the sample is heated to decomposition to produce smaller molecules that are separated by gas chromatography and detected using mass spectrometry. Pyrolyzer - GC system is equipped with FID detector and quadruple MS and allows analyzing natural and artificial polymers (for example: rubber, colors, varnishes, carbohydrates and other).

Specification

  • Double-Shot pyrolyzer Frontier Labs PY-2020iD/AS1020E, temperature range: +10 to +750°C.
  • Heating speed to 800°C less than 4 min, cooling speed from 800°C less that 12 min, interface temperature from +50 to 450°C.
  • Sample input system for 48 samples. GC thermostat temperature range from 25 to 450°C ±0.1°C, injector temperature to +450°C, He or H2 gas. *FID detector max temperature: 450°C. The minimum detection limit 1.5 picograms of carbon per second, linear dynamic range 10^7.
  • NIST Atomic Spectra Database
