Description
Impulse-echo ultrasonic technique is used to obtain high-resolution images that characterize the design of internal defects. Impulse-echo ultrasonic technique's main constituent elements are a short ultrasonic signal transmitter generating (5 or 10 MHz broadband transmitter) and reflected signal receiver recorder. Part of the radiated signal encounters during the design surface is reflected and recorded as the surface echo signal emitted from another part of the way and continue to encounter damage is reflected and recorded as a failure echo. Ultrasonic test equipment capable of recording the signal amplitude of 20,000 and 10,000 path length values per second.
