Description

Laser Capture Microdissection(LCM)is an instrument to isolate specific single cells or entire areas of tissue. Powered by a unique laser design and dynamic software, LCM system allows users to easily isolate regions of interest from entire areas of tissue down to single cells or even subcellular structures such as chromosomes.

Services

LCM is a one-step process that provides a fast method of preserving and isolating single cells or clusters of cells from tissue sections by direct microscopic visualisation without contaminating cells to perform accurate assays on specific single cell using the following applications:

  • DNA genotyping and loss-of-heterozygosity (LOH) analysis
  • RNA transcript profiling
  • cDNA library generation
  • Proteomics discovery and signal-pathway profiling.
