Description

Remotely operated underwater vehicle (ROV) for underwater inspection and study. Multifunctional inspection robot is equipped with visual surveillance system, TV navigation camera, 5-function hydraulic manipulator, metal detector and the side scan sonar. The ROV’s maximum movement speed is 5 knots. Sufficient power and thrust to withstand sea currents up to at least 3 knots. High performance viewing system, with both a colour/zoom TV camera (mounted on a full Pan/Tilt unit) and a B/W very low light TV camera.

Specification

Inspection ROV depth rated to 300 m. High level of modularity, with a wide range of optional sensors and tools, mounted on the ROV itself or on interchangeable skids:

  • Side scan sonar
  • Altimeter (with auto altitude function)
  • Positioning system
  • High resolution digital still camera
  • Manipulator arm
  • Metal detector
  • Single and ergonomic hand controller for both the ROV and a 5 functions manipulator arm.
