Shock tower instron 9250

Contacts and Location

Description

Dynatup INSTRON 9250 HV shock tower is gravity/spring falling weight type of tower, with the ability to electronically control the free fall height, weight or acceleration, as well as the simulated drop height (spring) up to 20.4 m. It is meant to determine material impact strength and energy absorption properties of such materials as metals, plastics, fabrics, composite materials, as well as minor components or components and design fragments, according to DIN, ASTM and other standards. Two bits of kit providing 15.5 kN to 89 kN impact force. The maximum impact energy is up to 1603 J. Free falling height 1.25 m, simulated (spring prestressed) up to 20.4 m. Falling weight gain of 5.0 kg to 80.0 kg, 0.5, 1, 2, 5 kg scale. Provides a high-speed precision data collection option (up to 5 MHz).
