Contacts and Location

Description

Thermogravimetric analysis is a method in which the amount of weight change of a material is measured as a function of temperature or as a function of time in an atmosphere of vacuum, nitrogen, helium, air, or other gases. This method provides information about physical phenomena (phase transitions, absorption and desorption) and/or chemical phenomena (chemisorptions, thermal decomposition, and solid-gas reactions).

Specification

Temperature range: RT – 1100 °C; Temperature accuracy: ±0.3 ºC; Cooling agent: water with corrosion protection

Services

This method provides information about physical phenomena (phase transitions, absorption and desorption) and/or chemical phenomena (chemisorptions, thermal decomposition, and solid-gas reactions).
