Baltijas Juras Geoloģijas Centrs owns a multifunctional electronic total station Trimble S6, that can provide versatility and excellent measurement accuracy – the angles are determined with an accuracy of 5 seconds, allowing to use the instrument for a wide variety of surveying jobs. The device has the ability to capture and track different targets and also the classical reflection lenses at a distance. Trimble DR measuring technology increases the distance range of surveying without the use of reflector, so it is easy to reach points that are otherwise hard to reach, for example - facades.
