Description
Mist nets of nylon are hardly visible in the field and are very effective for catching birds and bats in ecological and migration studies. They’re recommended for all habitats, including open spaces.
Specification
Mist nets are made from thin but durable nylon netting made in Japan. They have deep black color which makes them invisible. Every net has its own serial number. This number helps to identify the owner of the net, as only authorized persons (e.g. with Ringing licence) can use the nets.

Mainly used in ecological and migration studies of birds and bats to catch them for ringing and examination of body condition.
