Description
Four point bending tests is used for measuring the stiffness modulus and assessing the fatigue resistance of asphaltic paving materials. Four point bending tests are included in CEN, AASHTO and Chinese test specifications. The specimen is a prismatic beam which is subjected to sinusoidal loading in either the controlled strain or controlled stress modes. Device accepts various beam sizes: 380 to 660mm in length and 50 x 50mm to 100 x 100mm cross-section This equipment is capable of testing over a wider frequency range (up to 60 Hz) than can be achieved with pneumatic loading systems. Temperature controlled cabinet range -20 to 30°C

Lielā četru punktu lieces iekārta vidējā (380-400mm) un liela garuma (līdz 60mm) paraugu testēšanai ar ciklisku slodzi sinusoidālā režīmā. Maksimālais paraugu šķērsgriezums ir 100×100 mm, tāpēc iespējams testēt paraugus ar vairākiem asfaltbetona slāņiem, kā tas būtu uz īstiem autoceļiem. Iegūtie rezultāti ļauj noteikt stingumu un nogurumizturību, kas ir svarīgākās asfaltbetona mehāniskās īpašības. Iebūvētā temperatūras kamera ļaus mainīt testēšanas temperatūru no -20°C līdz +30°C, tādejādi varēsim simulēt kā ziemas, tā vasaras apstākļus. Mainot testēšanas frekvenci no 0.1Hz līdz 60 Hz būs iespējams simulēt gan maz noslogotus ceļus, gan maģistrāles.
