Description

Samples are collected in marine or freshwater and parameters are following - chorophyll a concentration, phytoplankton, zooplankton, phytobenthos, macrozoobenthos.

Specification

Samples of cholorophyll a and phytoplankton are collected sampling a water in the upper layer (e.g.,0-5m, 0-10 m); zooplankton samples are collected at various layers having plankton net hauls of respective distance. phytobenthos samples are collected from the bottom substrate by SCUBA divers; macrozoobenthos samples are collected by sediment grabs or by SCUBA divers from the bottom substrate.

Accreditation

Sampling in accordance with accredited in-house methods, elaborates according to HELCOM Combine Manual for the Marine Monitoring: T-169-HB-HL-Ņ (chlorophyll a); T-169-HB-FP-Ņ (phytoplankton); T-169-HB-ZP-Ņ (zooplankton); T-169-HB-ZB-Ņ (soft bottom macrozoobenthos), LIAE is accredited for sampling at the spot indicated by client. Phytobenthos an hard bottom macrozoobenthos sampling methods are not accredited.
